A Note from TMD Chairman, Javier Cano

Dear TMD Partners,

We began 2019 with tremendous momentum as Los Angeles hotels within the Tourism Marketing District (TMD) scored another year of record performance in 2018 with 10.5 million room nights sold, a 5.2 percent year-over-year increase – powered by 50 million visitors. Occupancy, ADR and RevPar reached new highs across the board, and you can read more about these results in this quarter’s newsletter. Congratulations to each and every hotel within the TMD for this shared achievement.  

I hope to see you at our TMD Annual Hotel Meeting at The Line Hotel on March 21, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. to hear more about these results and upcoming programming efforts.
