At the past Regional Hotel Meeting, LA Tourism presented a new winter hotel promotion designed to drive incremental room nights to LATMD hotels during L.A’s softest visitation months. Preliminary numbers are strong, with over 40,000 room nights booked to date, revealing a keen interest in winter stays in LA.
The promotion highlights all that L.A has to offer, no matter the time of year: Great weather, cultural events and outdoor activities. The digital media is currently running in extreme cold-weather markets like Chicago and New York City, as well as closer feeder markets like Seattle and San Francisco. “Winter in L.A.” is being promoted on Hotels.com and Orbitz.com, targeted affinity market sites, as well as the discoverlosangeles.com website.
The promotion started December 26, 2014 and will run through this week (February 6th) for stays through February 28, 2015.
