Since the inception of the Tourism Marketing District, lodging performance stats have shown steady increases year-over-year. Hotels within the Tourism Marketing District continued to break records in 2014 with growth in Occupancy, ADR and RevPar.
In 2014 LATMD hotels on average had an occupancy rate of 80.7% - up from 79.9% last year and up from 77.7% in 2012.
LATMD hotels have also shown a higher occupancy rate than all of Los Angeles County (78.9%), the Top 25 U.S markets (72.4%) and the Total U.S (64.4%) in 2014.
In 2014 LATMD hotels saw a record-breaking ADR of $159.56. This is an increase of over $11 from 2013 ($147.98) and a $19 increase from 2012 ($140.50).
ADR for LATMD hotels also outpaced all of Los Angeles County ($147.27), the Top 25 U.S Markets ($141.48) and the Total U.S ($115.32) in 2014.
LATMD hotels saw an average RevPAR of $128.78 in 2014, up over $10 from 2013 ($118.26). LATMD hotels also yielded a higher RevPAR than all of Los Angeles County ($116.17), the Top 25 U.S Markets ($102.45) and the Total U.S ($74.28).
