The TMD conducted its Annual Hotel Meeting, March 10, 2016, with General Managers and Directors of Sales & Marketing from TMD hotels in all five regions of Los Angeles in attendance. TMD Chairman Javier Cano and the LA Tourism team celebrated the start of the new 10-year term of the TMD, and Chairman Cano shared what the TMD Board of Director’s have done to prepare for the new term. Hoteliers received updates on market performance, heard from the sales team on upcoming events and sales production, and marketing unveiled the new creative for this year’s marketing campaign.
The contract with the City of Los Angeles requires the LATMD to conduct, at a minimum, one annual meeting for all assessed lodging businesses. This meeting will reoccur annually.
